FROM THE AMIR OF BALAGASH

To the commander of British Occupation Forces in South Sudistan:

I am shocked by the provocative interference of Malahide Wolmondesley in the vicinity of Azab.  He is known to be visiting the English in the area, ordering them to stay and fight the couriers sent to escort them safely out of the area.  He is also claiming that invading armies of English and Scottish soldiers will come to 'rescue' them.

When it was learnt that Wolmondesley had landed near Azab, a band of patriots decided it was their duty go and see that no further military preparations were made.  What they found was a makeshift fort being made ready for an advance guard of invading troops.  When approached, the English opened fire and the peaceful initiative of the believers became a bloodly battle.  The English were waiting to slake their thirst for blood, so it is not surprising that they surprised and butchered a peaceful band of men who only wished to see that justice prevailed.

My aim remains the peaceful evacuation of all non-believers from South Sudistan, but I cannot guarantee foreigners safety when they attack my people.

Mustapha Thalot
